As the Pharmacist Manager, you will lead a team of 15+ pharmacists in delivering exceptional patient care while driving operational excellence. The schedule for this role is Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Fridays, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM; located at 1830 South Horne, Mesa, AZ.

Your responsibilities will include:

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture focused on patient-centric care
  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor pharmacists to ensure professional growth and alignment with organizational goals
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback and coaching

Patient Care & Service Excellence:

  • Ensure the highest standards of pharmaceutical care and medication safety
  • Promote patient engagement and satisfaction through quality service delivery
  • Teach our technician and clerk team about pharmacy standards and quality

Operational Management:

  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, cost, and efficiency
  • Implement process improvements to optimize workflow and reduce operational waste
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Collaborate with leadership to align pharmacy operations with broader organizational objectives
  • Analyze data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
  • Lead initiatives that enhance service delivery, cost containment, and clinical outcomes

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Currently active or able to obtain pharmacist license in good standing with the state AZ board of pharmacy
  • 5+ years of pharmacy practice experience
  • 2+ years of experience managing teams of pharmacists in a clinical, retail, or specialty pharmacy setting
  • Ability to display excel proficiency (medium to advanced formulas and pivot tables)
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement data-driven improvements
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving organizational goals
  • Proficiency in pharmacy management systems, inventory management systems and excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lean or Six Sigma Certification/Training
  • Database management experience (SQL)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $110,200 to $188,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
