Security Officer - School Patrol Bike

As a Security Officer - School Patrol Bike in Cary, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the property, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to those on site. You will interact with students, staff, and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment in an educational location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors.
• Document and report security-related incidents and/or hazards according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and local authorities as needed to support security-related operations.
• Follow post orders specific to the educational location and participate in regular training sessions provided by Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
