As a Security Professional - Unarmed Retail Patrol in LOS ANGELES, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and thorough observation. You will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service while responding to incidents and assisting visitors and tenants. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail or mall environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout various areas of the assigned retail or mall location while monitoring for security-related concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or irregularities according to Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
