As a Security Professional - Media Building Patrol Full-Time in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a leading tech, media, and telecom environment, you will help to deter incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a strong visual presence throughout the location. Your role will focus on upholding a secure atmosphere, responding promptly to any security-related situations, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism throughout.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols, maintaining accurate and timely records.
• Collaborate with other personnel and local authorities as appropriate, supporting a secure environment for occupants and visitors.
• Remain alert to any unusual activity or potential risks within the tech and media environment, taking appropriate action based on Allied Universal guidelines.
• Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
