Job Title: Quality In-Line Repair Master Technician

Location: Amesbury, MA

Company: Munters Corporation

Salary: $26.17/hr. - $33.10/hr.

Position Overview/Summary:

At its core mission, In-Line Repair is a problem-solving group to reduce lead times. The primary mission of the Quality In-Line Repair Master Technician is to develop mastery in all production assembly tasks, identify and share quality problems (Issues, NCRs, Scrap, and Warranty), train personnel to competency, identify and share best practices, and lead execution of assembly tasks to help the lines to run efficiently.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Collaboratively work to facilitate building of units, resolve in-house quality problems, complete projects, and implement new technology (e.g., iMPACt) and tools.

  • Able to inspect and repair units in process, matching units as found to blueprints/specifications to ensure that product meets production standards.

  • Fill in to assist with closing, as needed.

  • Identify and share top Issues, NCRs, Scrap, and Warranty with ILR Lead, Operations and Quality Leadership, both verbally and in the form of written weekly and/or monthly reports.

  • Recommend process changes to improve effectiveness and/or efficiency to help improve safety, morale, quality, delivery, and cost.

  • Help maintain procedures, checklists, and training materials, training and re-training as necessary.

  • Ensure ILR and Line personnel have the tools and training needed to do their work both effectively and efficiently.

  • Ensure ILR and Line personnel are taking notice of low stocks to ensure replenishment is occurring in a timely fashion

  • Promotes and lives the Munters Core Values.

  • Complete company-assigned training, as required.

  • Assists Quality Manager as required.

  • Other duties, as assigned.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Strong customer focus.

  • Strong team collaborative skills and ability to work within teams and with people at all levels in a multicultural environment.

  • Self-Motivated and driven. A proven self-starter that works with urgency.

  • Excellent dexterity and experience using hand/power tools and machinery.

  • Familiarity with OSHA, ISO, Lock out / Tag out (LOTO), and Electrical / Arc Flash.

  • In depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, especially assembly-type operations.

  • Experience with Munters business systems (e.g., Glovia, Solidcontact, Astea, C2)

  • An eye for detail.

  • Motivated, confident and persistent in meeting project goals.

  • Able to independently flex between competing priorities to keep the product moving.

  • Able to gather data from multiple various and summarize graphically using Microsoft Excel.

  • Curious, life learner.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or associate's degree in a relevant field.

  • Minimum 5+ years in a manufacturing assembly environment.

  • Some mechanical trades experience.

Physical Demands:

  • Periodically lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs.

  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, climb, maneuver, stoop, squat, grasp, and reach.

  • Required to have excellent manual dexterity, visual, and listening acuity.

  • Able to wear proper protective and safety equipment, such as glasses and gloves, as required.
