Warfighter Integration Engineer

Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, seeks candidates for a Warfighter Integration Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This position is based in Colorado Springs, CO.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Provide wargame and missile defense subject matter expertise to MDA/ CAC in their role leading the development of MDA's wargame event requirements and post-wargame analysis and reporting.
• Assist CAC by providing practical wargame experience to shape the content of MDA's wargame walk-up events, tabletop exercises, and capstone events.
• Provide expertise to CAC in wargame doctrine and best practices employed by the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands (CCMD), Services, and Defense Agencies.
• Support CAC in conducting future missile defense system architectural analyses with international partners and warfighting CCMDs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• Master's degree in a STEM field.
• Minimum 12+ years of experience in missile defense-related or other DoD large projects with specific experience in wargame development and execution, systems analysis, and engineering for defense-related programs.
• Ability to plan and execute required support, develop clear and concise written products, and present wargame and missile defense technical matters to MDA senior leaders and MDA warfighter and international working group meetings in support of MDA/CAC.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
• Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time, CONUS and OCONUS.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active TS with SCI is highly preferred.
