About the Role
The Advanced Control Systems Specialist Engineer position focuses on the development and integration of advanced vehicle electronics technologies specific to Lethality systems. The scope of responsibilities includes Model Based System Engineering, requirements decomposition, Software Requirements Specification writing, control system modeling, vehicle schematics maturation, Graphical User Interface design, and integration and test.

Specific tasks include but are not limited to:
- Understanding and development of systems & subsystem level requirements
- Writing Software Requirements Specifications
- Developing conceptual Graphical User Interfaces
- Understanding and development of vehicle & subsystem-level integration and test plan
- Integration of electrical / electronic components into existing vehicle architectures
- Trouble shooting of link-based (e.g., CAN, Ethernet, etc...) electrical systems
- Development of link-based (CAN) diagnostics
Position Requirements:
Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Control Systems, Software, or related engineering field. Other technical degrees will be considered with related experience.
- Experience with Graphical User Interface Design and Test
- Minimum of 5-7 years of applicable experience, fewer years will be considered with an advanced degree.
- Broad based knowledge of electrical systems, system/subsystem, H/W, & S/W requirements.
- Proven and demonstrated experience with integration of electrical / electronic components and associated software/hardware
- Experience with network-based vehicle architectures
- Experience trouble shooting electrical systems required
- Experience with link-based (e.g., CAN) diagnostic systems
- Experience with Lethality Subsystem Integration and Test
- Experience with lab & vehicle-based electronics and softwaretesting

  • This position will require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance. (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance)
