Job Summary
The Talent Advisor will support recruitment operations, compliance initiatives, and process auditing within a hybrid work environment. This role focuses on ensuring recruitment and hiring activities align with regulatory and organizational standards, including U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance. The Talent Advisor will also assist with union new-hire orientations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance recruiting practices and maintain accuracy in reporting and data tracking. This is a six-month contract position with the possibility of extension and potential conversion to full-time employment based on performance. Job Responsibilities
Audit recruitment processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
Support ongoing reorganization and recruitment initiatives within a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
Ensure adherence to U.S. DOT and other applicable compliance standards
Assist in conducting new union hire orientations and onboarding activities
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve recruitment operations and reporting efficiency
Manage and maintain Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases for accurate candidate tracking and compliance documentation
Prepare, analyze, and maintain detailed Excel reports to monitor recruitment metrics and progress
Perform full-cycle recruitment activities as needed, including sourcing, screening, and selection
Job Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in recruiting, compliance, or auditing functions
Bachelor's degree required
Proven experience managing high-volume recruiting or applicant review processes
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in data reporting
Proven ability to work effectively under shifting priorities and meet strict deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting engineering, utility, or telecommunications recruitment
Background in U.S. DOT compliance auditing or regulatory reporting
Demonstrated ability to maintain team accountability and ensure project milestones are achieved

Hybrid schedule: On-site three days per week, remote two days per week
Work hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST
Local travel may be required as needed
Initial contract: 6 months with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time employment based on performance
