Job Summary
The Talent Advisor will play a key role in supporting high-volume, full-cycle recruitment efforts within a hybrid work environment. This position focuses on sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates across engineering, utility, and telecommunications functions, with an emphasis on accuracy, organization, and collaboration. The Talent Advisor will also assist with union new-hire orientations and recruitment process improvements while ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. This is a six-month contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time employment based on performance. Job Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruiting processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating candidate selection
Support recruitment staff in achieving hiring goals and executing reorganization initiatives
Conduct or assist with new union hire orientations and onboarding activities
Leverage job boards, networks, and other sourcing tools to attract qualified candidates for specialized and high-volume roles
Maintain and update Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to ensure accurate and timely candidate data management
Develop and maintain detailed Excel reports to track recruitment metrics and progress
Collaborate closely with stakeholders and hiring managers to align recruitment strategies with organizational needs
Adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and professionalism in all deliverables
Job Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or a related HR function
Bachelor's degree required
Proven experience managing high-volume recruiting in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and resume screening processes
Ability to create and manage complex Excel spreadsheets for weekly status reporting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated success in stakeholder collaboration
Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain attention to detail in a dynamic setting
Preferred Qualifications
Experience recruiting for engineering, utility, or telecommunications roles
Prior experience working with unionized workforces
Strong organizational and time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
Detail-oriented and data-driven, with a commitment to accuracy in reporting metrics

Hybrid schedule: On-site three days per week, remote two days per week
Work hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST
Local travel may be required as needed
