Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and execute smart, responsible load growth omni-channel marketing and program implementation strategies for Missouri TE programs.
  • Lead and execute strategies and tactics (including Ride and Drives, tabling events and speaking opportunities) to engage and educate customers that are interested in or already own an electric vehicle. Understand their needs, identify decision makers/stakeholders, and build trusted relationships to enroll them in mutually beneficial TE programs.
  • Develop, lead and execute TE decision enablement tools to promote enrollment in mutually beneficial TE programs and aid in the decision making process of EV adoption.
  • Build, leverage and manage strategic partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders (i.e. auto dealerships, electricians) to develop a successful and sustainable efficient electrification network that will assist in implementing Ameren Missouri's TE market development.
  • Speak as a representative of Ameren in variety of local and national public forums including, but not limited to: local media televised/radio/virtual interviews, large customer or contractor audiences, industry groups, local clubs and organizations, etc.
  • Oversee and promulgate a performance-based TE enabling culture. Continuously evaluate external sales and marketing processes, incentive structure, rules and regulations to improve the TE Market Development strategy.
  • Possess a strategic and detailed knowledge of Ameren Missouri's and overlapping energy providers' electric/natural gas//diesel/gasoline rates, and products and services offered. Lead technical discussions to leverage that knowledge to continuously evaluate and improve processes, incentive structures, rules and regulations to enable smart, responsible EV adoption and TE program participation.
  • Proactively collaborate within Ameren to provide strategic guidance in analyzing market opportunities and product/service development by providing input from current and potential TE customers.
  • Create value propositions for smart, responsible conversion of fossil-fueled vehicles to electric-powered technologies, presenting the total cost benefit analysis to stakeholders and enabling the overall conversion process.
  • Proactively develop, monitor, record and report on customer/segment strategies and performance metrics and work with internal and external stakeholders to modify plans as needed.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, or other technical degree from an accredited college or university required. Seven or more years of professional level experience in consultative business development and/or omni-channel marketing required. Three or more years EV or related experience required. Proven leadership skills, especially influencing and leading outside of the organization, promoting new customer solutions, marketing and event coordination required.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

Technical aptitude for understanding and explaining end-user technologies preferred. Knowledge of strategies, tactics, and effective marketing techniques, and proven ability to develop marketing proposals responding to customer needs. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven poise, presentation and negotiation skills suitable to all levels from junior staff to senior executives. Independent self-starter with an entrepreneurial attitude and a proven ability to identify, create, and close transactions with integrity. Ability to continuously improve products and services. Achieve goals while working in a team environment. Excellent business acumen. Demonstrated ability to consistently exercise good judgment and develop a course of action based on factual information. Strong domain knowledge is desired in the energy and utility industry. Excellent computer skills with proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Compensation Range:

$111,100.00 - $172,200.00

At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
