Location: Fully Remote (occasional access to NIWC Pacific - San Diego, CA)

Salary: $140,000-$190,000 (Based on 10+ years of experience)

Metronome is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to support the COSMOS Cloud-Native Environment for the Naval Information Warfare Center - Pacific (NIWC PAC). This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining secure web-based applications in a modern Agile DevSecOps pipeline, enabling scalable, mission-critical capabilities for DoD users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Node.js, React, TypeScript, Python, and PostgreSQL (Aurora).

  • Integrate APIs and microservices across AWS and Azure environments.

  • Conduct secure coding, peer code reviews, and static code analysis in alignment with DISA STIG standards.

  • Deploy and maintain applications across development, QA, production, and COOP environments.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and RMF artifacts.

  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and cloud engineering teams to uphold Zero Trust principles and DoD compliance.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of full-stack software development experience.

  • Proficiency with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3) and modern CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.).

  • Familiarity with secure software practices in DoD or federal environments.

  • Strong understanding of software lifecycle management within cloud-native architectures.

Preferred Certifications
  • CompTIA Security+ CE (DoD 8570 baseline)

  • AWS Developer Associate or equivalent
