Job Summary

The Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, Office of Student Affairs, is seeking a temporary exam proctor for the period of December 10th through December 19th, 2025, with one hour of training to take place prior to December 10th. Hours will be assigned based on need.

This position is grant-funded; employment is contingent upon the continued availability of those funds.

Essential Functions



  • Provide standardized instructions to students for starting and stopping exams.
  • Monitor the room for exam integrity.
  • Manage any unique needs, including excused breaks, for students with exam accommodations
  • Communicate with the exam team about any issues that arise.
  • Interact with students in the room who have questions or issues.


Required Qualifications



  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience. (Please review the Equivalency Chart for additional information.)
  • Good communication skills.
  • Interact with students in the room who have questions or issues.
  • Patience and ability to manage a stressful environment
  • Proctors may be asked to monitor a room for up to 7 hours, but will be provided with relief for breaks.
  • Monitoring the room is primarily a seated activity but does involve some movement for starting the exam, addressing issues, and collecting exams.

Additional Information
This is a Part-Time Per Diem position classified as Non-Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
