As the Regional Sales Manager, Midwest region for the Real-Time-Location-Systems (RTLS) business unit of HID Global, you will be responsible for creating and executing a strategic territory plan to foster new business growth in key sectors. You will conduct technical product demonstrations, and consultations with end users and partners to identify needs and solutions. You will travel up to 40% within the United States, with occasional international travel required, for global projects or company educational seminars. This is a predominantly customer interfacing role and always requires the highest level of customer service

Identification Technologies (IDT):This position will be in our Identification Technologies (IDT) business area within HID Global. Our Real-Time-Location-Systems (RTLS) business unit delivers location intelligence in ways that unlock the full value of business operations with the shortest possible ROI toour customers,partners and end-users.
As ourRegional Sales Manager, you'll support HID's successby:
- Developing and executing a business plan to grow the region through establishing relationships, developing new relationships, and working with our channel partners.
- Creating strategic relationships with customers and prospects at different levels within the organization, understanding their specific pain points and requirements, while also identifying any organizational roadblocks.
- Developing and executing a comprehensive business plan.
- Accurately forecasting sales pipeline and closing business against defined quota.
- Supporting marketing efforts and speaking engagements at trade shows and industry events.
- Maintaining an updated and accurate forecast in CRM (Salesforce.com)
- Collaborating with Marketing and Segment Leaders on demand generation campaigns tailored to the region.
- Supporting execution of regional events, webinars, and account-based marketing programs.
Your Experience and Background include:
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred, engineering major preferred.
- Candidates with an equivalent education plus relevant work experience may also be considered.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in market-based sales role which achieved or exceeded business growth targets is highly preferred.
- Selling complex product lines that require advanced knowledge and/or advanced customer relationship skills desired.
- Strong CRM and MS office application knowledge, advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
- Travel required, approximately 40% (some international).
