Job Description:

The Principle Development Engineer will lead efforts in characterization, modeling, reliability analysis, and design debug, supporting activities from qualification through production testing. This role encompasses failure analysis, documentation, technology transfer, and training, ensuring seamless integration across development and manufacturing. Additionally, the position involves driving the design and development of probe card mechanical components and assembly processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Characterization:

  • Execute fundamental probe card performance characterization in a lab environment.
  • Support integration engineers in product characterization activities.

Process Development:

  • Develop probe card mechanical assembly processes, create work instructions, and conduct production training.

Issue Resolution:

  • Provide support for production and customer applications related to mechanical assembly issues.
  • Recommend and implement corrective actions based on root cause analysis.

Mechanical Design:

  • Design probe card mechanical components, development test vehicles, and tooling fixtures.
  • Generate, release, and maintain design drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM).

Collaboration & Documentation:

  • Work closely with R&D, Process Integration, and Operations teams to ensure timely task completion.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for designs, processes, and training materials.

Pay Range:

$110,700.00 - $145,320.00

Pay Range Explained:

This role in Livermore, California pays between $110,700.00 and $145,320.00 per year, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations. We offer a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, a 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plan (ESPP), and paid time off. You'll also be eligible for quarterly profit-sharing bonuses and flexible spending or savings accounts.
