WHAT THIS ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

The Data Governance and Privacy Leader will drive enterprise-wide strategies that unlock the value of consumer data while ensuring responsible stewardship and regulatory compliance.

This role is pivotal in enabling business growth, operational efficiency, and customer trust through scalable governance and privacy programs.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with deep expertise in data governance, privacy risk management, and cross-functional collaboration across a dynamic, consumer-centric organization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following is required to be considered for this role:



  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of professional experience
  • At least 10 years' experience in data governance, privacy, or compliance roles
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Experience with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) and governance frameworks
  • Experience with privacy management platforms (such as OneTrust) and data mapping tools



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your resume will stand out if you have:



  • Master's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Law, or a related field
  • Experience withing CPG, retail, or other consumer-facing industries
  • Certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPM, or CDMP are highly desirable



ADDITIONAL DETAILS



  • The salary range for this job is between $114,000 and $135,000. Salary will take into consideration several factors including location.
  • This is a remote position. However, the selected candidate will be required to travel to our headquarters in Kansas City, MO approximately 3-4 times per year for team meetings and company events. All travel expenses will be covered in accordance with company policy.
