Gundersen Health System is seeking a full-time Surgery & Procedure Coordinator in Winona, MN to join our growing and thriving organization.This is your opportunity to provide exceptional customer service and make a difference in a career you will love!

What's Available:

  • FTE: 0.9 (36 hours weekly)

  • Shift: Monday-Friday, daytime hours

  • Department: Surgery

  • Location: Fully Onsite, Winona, MN

What you will do:

  • Coordinate surgeries and procedures while supporting the multidisciplinary team

  • Represent Gundersen Health System's high standards for customer service in all interactions while maintaining patient privacy under HIPAA guidelines

  • Use EPIC to manage electronic medical charts and scheduling

  • Coordinate emergent/urgent surgical cases and collaborate with charge nurses, surgeons, and OR staff

  • Maintain OR Magnet Board and prepare daily Call Sheets

  • Verify and process OR-related forms and input information into the operating system (barcode scanning)

  • Multitask in a high-stress environment and respond to urgent situations

  • Partner with a team of providers, nurses, and staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent patient experience

What you need:

  • High school diploma or equivalency

  • 1 year of experience working in a healthcare setting

  • Strong organizational skills, communication skills. multitasking ability, and critical thinking
