Registered Nurse -3C Stepdown- 36 Hours - Midnight Shift Sign on Bonus Eligible Full Time Benefit Eligible Schedule: 3-12 Hour Shifts from 7p-7:30a; rotating weekends and holidays Hospital: Henry Ford Warren Join Our Step-Down Team! Our 16- bed Step-Down Unit cares for high acuity patients with cardiac, respiratory, neuro, gastro, nephrology, and vascular conditions. Nurses manage telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips, insulin and vasopressors, and patients on BiPAP or high-flow oxygen, typically with a 3-4 patient assignment. You will be supported by 24/7 providers, strong teamwork, and a focused orientation program that sets you up for success. This is a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your skills grow, and your work is valued every day. GENERAL SUMMARY: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * BSN preferred. * Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. * Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. * Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. * Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. Additional Information
