POSITION SUMMARY: The Planning & Utilities Administrator provides high-level administrative support to the Planning, Utilities and Accounting departments. The Planning Department oversees compliances with technical/environmental operating and land use permits, permit acquisition, and resort wide sustainability initiatives. The Utilities Department oversees and operates the resort's water and wastewater systems. The Accounting Department executes quarterly billing for Sugarbush Utilities customers. This position requires a passion for the winter sports and year-round four-season resort industry, high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to move between and within these departments providing planning, compliance, water, wastewater, and billing assistance. This is a full-time, year-round position. The Planning & Utilities Administrator is a key member of the Planning, Utilities and Accounting Departments and is responsible for providing administrative and technical support to department staff to facilitate the efficient and organized operation of these three departments including periodic outdoor fieldwork and associated tasks as assigned. The Planning & Utilities Administrator will report 50% to the Planning & Sustainability Manager, 50% to the Utilities and Accounting Managers. This is a full-time year-round position paying $22-$24/hour depending on experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform a wide range of administrative duties for Planning and Utilities including email, photocopying, digitizing, and mailing; organize and maintain records for compliance and project filing systems; handle requests for information and research; data collection and reporting; schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute meeting notes; and maintain office supply inventories.
