Quincy, Florida, USA Join Clariant and take a key leadership role in ensuring world-class quality across our operations. In this position, you will lead and develop our QA/QC lab technicians, strengthen our quality systems, and drive continuous improvement across the site. You will play a critical part in maintaining our certifications, resolving technical challenges, and supporting long-term partnerships. Your expertise will help improve performance indicators, enhance production reliability, and ensure full compliance with internal and external standards. This is an opportunity to make a measurable impact while growing your skills through initiatives such as Lean Six Sigma and cross-functional improvement programs. Responsibilities
- Lead QA/QC lab technicians and ensure they perform all duties according to role expectations
- Develop and manage training and development plans for all QA/QC lab technicians
- Manage all quality aspects of long-term service level agreements (LTSA) between Clariant and BASF
- Facilitate and lead change management (MOCs) for Quality Group
- Manage QNS System (act as coordinator) and help resolve all technical problems impacting quality
- Implement sustainable solutions to improve all Quality performance indicators
- Ensure maintenance and compliance of ISO9001, FDA, GMP, Kosher, HACCP, and other certifications
- Maintain all quality management systems, serve as key administrator for site document control system
- Release all Quality department documents in Intelex (forms, SOPs, Work Instructions, etc.)
- Support investigation and resolution of all audit findings related to quality
- Overall responsibility for managing the verification of and release of material for shipment
- Achieve Green Belt certification. Support 5S events, Yellow Belts, and other LSS and Continuous Improvement activities.
- Support all ESHA activities to ensure 100% compliance with internal Clariant standards and 3rd party regulators
- Implement changes to increase FTPR and production output, reduce EVP's, and increase overall site profitability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree minimum preferred but industrial experience also recognized in place of degree
- 3 years minimum in a quality management or manufacturing support role
- LSS training (Green Belt certified), Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Visio), SAP experience is a plus
