Beckley Campus

West Virginia University School of Nursing, located at the WVU Beckley Campus, invites applications for a Lecturer in the Non-Tenure Track. This is a part-time (FTE 0.33), 4.5-month, non-benefits eligible position. This position will report to the department chairperson.

Clinical teaching in the BSN programs, specifically Pediatrics. In addition to clinical teaching, other teaching formats, including traditional classroom instruction, skills lab, small-group, and simulation, may be included. Advising students in the BSN program.

Qualifications

* Graduate degree with a major in nursing; or have a bachelor's degree with a major in nursing and be enrolled in a graduate degree program with a major in nursing within one (1) year of employment as a faculty member; or have a bachelor's degree with a major in nursing and at least two (2) years of direct patient care experience in nursing.
* Have evidence of current experience in nursing practice and education sufficient to demonstrate professional competence.
* Have credentials that verify status as a registered professional nurse in West Virginia.
* Applicants with an earned doctorate in nursing or a related field are encouraged to apply.
