What You Will Do as a Benefits & Compensation Administrator This role will be responsible for administering Workwear Outfitter's group benefit programs by partnering with vendors, employees, consultants, and auditors to oversee plan design and cost, compliance, and service to WWOF employees. How You Will Make a Difference:
- Annual Benefits Strategy and Planning - Partners with consulting firm to discuss annual strategy around benefit plan, assessing potential plan design changes in conjunction with Director and VP of HR, reviewing RFPs and making recommendations with a focus on plan design competitiveness while maintaining plan cost increases
- Open Enrollment - Partner with benefits consulting firm and benefits enrollment platform to plan for open enrollment, ensure system set up, testing, changes to plan documents, vendors, etc. Communicate open enrollment with employee population, monitor system for completions to ensure successful open enrollment.
- Wellness - Determine how to direct wellness funds, schedule on site wellness events for various site locations
- Compliance - Complete compliance activities such as health and welfare non discrimination testing, submission of 5500, Gag Clause Attestation, sending of annual notices, etc
- Associate/Vendor Questions - Research, respond to, and resolve inquiries and problems of various complexities regarding benefit issues and concerns such as associate questions related to benefits
- Manage tasks in benefits platform to ensure proper administration of benefits; dependent verifications, notifying pending initial enrollments, managing open cases, reviewing weekly payroll files from Benefitsolver system to ensure properly applied in Workday (HRIS system).
- Invoices - Ensure all invoices are paid each month; compiling information as needed, comparing invoice against records in benefits platform and finance treasury, coding and submitting for payment
- Performs other specific functions (e.g. deceased employee benefits processing, Qualified Domestic Relations Order, benefits orientation for new hires, ad hoc reporting as needed)
Skills for Success:
- Bachelors degree and 5+ years experience administering benefits
- Experience with annual benefit planning and open enrollment set up
- Experience understanding and reviewing integrations between systems to identify errors or resolve issues
- Experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Strong planning and organizational skills required
- Experience with BenefitSolver and/or Workday a plus
