The Executive Director Finance has a direct reporting relationship with the Vice President of Finance and is responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial results for Mercy. This includes financial analysis, monitoring organizational performance, benchmarking functional/service line operations and managing the forecasting process. Also manages the day-to-day processes within the Finance department to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of all reports, including processes to monitor and improve internal controls. The Executive Director provides analysis and support to administration, develops analytical tools and reports for departments and interprets data for all levels of the Community's operations. The Executive Director has local oversight for patient access functions within the hospital setting, including the admitting functions and patient scheduling. Executive Director is responsible for recommending process improvement strategies and work simplification to ensure coordination and eliminate unnecessary or duplication of efforts within the areas of responsibility. Must be able to work well with other finance professionals, administrative leaders and Mercy Shared Services. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
