Brown, Inc. has a career opportunity available for an experienced and motivated mid-level Test Technician in our Huntsville, AL location. Our three divisions, Engineering and Test, Technical Services, and Mission Systems, make DTB a diverse and interesting place to work. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Interpret engineering drawings for fabrication and assembly of test fixtures Utilize tools and equipment required to assemble test fixtures Strain gage installation, including interpreting drawings for location, surface preparation, bonding, soldering, and diagnostics Assemble hydraulic systems composed of hoses, servo valves, actuators, and manifolds Interfaces with customers and the engineering team Perform and document inspections of work Travel as required within the continental US (on average 10 - 20%) Overtime and flexible shifts will be required during certain periods of a project The ideal candidate will need: Minimum of a High School Diploma Min 3 years' experience in mechanical, structural, and hydraulic equipment assembly and setup Aircraft structural testing experience is a plus. Mechanical hands-on technical training is a plus Must be able to work from engineering drawings tailored for test fixture assembly Must be experienced and resourceful in the use and operation of tools and equipment used to assemble steel fixturing Ability to work night shift US Citizenship Required Dayton T.
