As a Software Analyst in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. You will work within the Advanced Reactors and Advanced Fuel manufacturing teams to develop and support Manufacturing Execution System applications for the Richland nuclear fuel fabrication facility (Inventory control, recipe management, quality control, machine integration, machine automation, ERP interfaces). They will be required Interact directly with internal customers to define project requirements and evaluate the resulting software solution. Project sizes vary from small, 1-day assignments to multiple month team projects. This role will require technical writing skills in providing documentation and assist in end user training. In addition, application support for software solutions (problem resolution, enhancements, retirement) will be required.

Completion of a BS in Computer Science, a technical/business discipline, or comparable experience in lieu of degree
• At least 2 years of directly related experience
  • An advanced degree (MS or PhD) may substitute for 1-3 years of related work experience
• Knows and applies the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a particular field of specialization
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with PC-based applications such as MS Office
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management
• Ability to change priorities quickly, confront issues directly and work well as part of a team

• Salary: $82,000 - $107,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
