Start Date TBD Contract Sheppard Trainer Maintenance Salary Range $28.99/Hour Posting Date 11/18/2025 Union No FLSA Status Non-Exempt Shift Work Possible FT/PT Full-time Relocation No Travel Possible Job Summary: M1 is looking for a Machinery Maintenance Mechanic who will repair machinery or mechanical equipment. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Work involves most of the following: examining machines and mechanical equipment to diagnose source of trouble, dismantling or partly dismantling machines and performing repairs that mainly involve the use of hand tools in scraping and fitting parts. * Responsibilities include replacing broken or defective parts with items obtained from stock, and ordering the production of a replacement part by a machine shop or sending the machine to a machine shop for major repairs. * Duties also include preparing written specifications for major repairs or for the production of parts ordered from machine shops, reassembling machines and making all necessary adjustments for operation. * Complies with all company, OSHA, AFOSH and customer safety requirements. * Performs other duties as required. Qualifications and Experience: * High school diploma or GED. * Requires five (5) years' experience as a machinery maintenance mechanic. * Requires a proven ability to accurately maintain and repair machinery equipment. * Must have the ability to deal courteously, professionally and effectively with the customer. * Must speak, read, write, and understand English. * Must be able to obtain/maintain a security clearance. * Current valid U.S. Driver's License. Working Conditions: * Environment ranges from office like to hangar and flight line. Extensive sitting to climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
