Brightspeed has an exciting opportunity for a Network Architecture Manager to join our team! We are seeking an Operations and Data Center Manager to join our growing Brightspeed Lab Team. In this role, you will lead a team of Engineers that support our Principal Network Architects and Operation Support & Guideline Engineers within the overall Network Architecture organization.

The Network Architecture Lab Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the Brightspeed Lab and ensuring the successful execution of devices, software, and application testing activities. This role provides direct leadership to a team of 6-8 Lab Engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment focused on quality, efficiency, and timely project delivery.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 6-8 Lab Engineers to ensure completion of daily work tasks and testing activities across devices, software, and applications.
  • Provide onsite coaching, guidance, and technical support to lab engineers to drive project success and maintain high-quality testing standards.
  • Maintain a consistent physical presence at the BTAC to monitor operations, oversee workflows, and ensure on-time delivery of projects and assigned tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to established laboratory practices, procedures, and processes, promoting consistency and compliance across all activities.
  • Manage key performance metrics, tracking strategic milestones and monthly achievements to support continuous improvement.
  • Oversee and manage all physical assets within the Brightspeed Lab, ensuring proper maintenance, organization, and utilization.
Qualifications

What IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 5+ years of Telecommunication Network experience
  • Passionate about leading people, driving change, and focused on innovating systems and support through collaboration
  • Strong Project Management skills and experience
  • Experience and knowledge in the Telecommunications network(s)
    • Voice, Transport, Metro, Access, In-Home
  • Experience with lab and test plan execution
  • Innovative, strategic thinker and decision maker.
  • Strong problem-solving and execution skills in driving transformation and change.

Bonus Points for

  • Experience in the existing Brightspeed Network
  • Project Management Certification or Agile Certification
  • Even better if you have specific experience in the following areas:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI, Teams)
