We are seeking an Investigations Coordinator to be a crucial member of our Compliance team, coordinating and performing complex internal investigations involving allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of clients.

What You'll Do

Lead Critical Inquiries - Coordinate and perform complex internal investigations on a variety of topics as defined by policy, including cases of abuse, neglect, exploitation, or mistreatment.


Drive Investigation Strategy - Develop the scope and investigation strategy for cases initiated in assigned regions , leading multiple investigations at once in a fast-paced environment.


Conduct Thorough Fact-Finding - Identify, contact, and interview alleged perpetrator(s), witnesses, and victims. Collect, collate, analyze, and interpret data relating to investigations.


Ensure Regulatory Compliance - Work with local operations to provide investigatory information to various federal, state, or local regulatory and/or law enforcement agencies , and ensure compliance with applicable federal/state regulations.


Analyze High-Risk Events - Analyze high-risk investigation or Sentinel Event issues that could result in legal or regulatory action against the organization , and monitor incidents that meet the definition of a sentinel event



HOURS: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.


SALARY: $66,000 - $69,000

This is an Exempt position, reporting directly to the Manager of Compliance.





Your Impact: What You Will Accomplish ?

As our Investigations Coordinator, you won't just follow a script-you'll be writing it. You will work independently to uphold our values of belonging, connection, faithfulness, and grit by:







  • Leading Critical Inquiries: Coordinating and performing complex internal investigations into allegations of abuse, neglect, exploitation, or mistreatment of clients.





  • Driving the Investigation Strategy: Developing the scope and strategy for investigations in your assigned regions , managing multiple investigations simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.





  • Expert Fact-Finder: Identifying, contacting, and interviewing all relevant parties-alleged perpetrator(s), witnesses, and victims. You will collect, collate, analyze, and interpret the data.





  • Protecting the Organization: Analyzing high-risk investigation or Sentinel Event issues that could result in legal or regulatory action.





  • Collaborating and Communicating: Presenting investigation findings to agency leadership and other key stakeholders , and collaborating with state/federal partners as directed.






Are You the Investigator We Need? ?


  • Experience is Key: You must have a minimum of three years of related experience with increasing responsibilities in an administrative or organizational environment.



  • Certification Required: You must have, or be able to obtain within twelve (12) months of hire, Certification in LRA Consulting's Conducting Serious Incident Investigations / Level I.



  • The Right Mindset: You possess strong skill in investigation techniques , the ability to trend, analyze, and draw conclusions from data , and the ability to handle crisis situations in a calm and rational manner.



  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Political Science, Human Services, or a related field is preferred (or equivalent experience accepted). Experience in the I/DD or healthcare setting is a plus.
