Now Hiring Electrical Repair Technician

Location: Plano, TX

Pay: $23 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday (8 AM - 5 PM)

Key Responsibilities



  • Monitors active work list and performs repairs.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and test rectifiers.
  • Replaces defective components using soldering equipment and hand tools.
  • Enters information on all completed work in ERP systems.



Requirements

Experience



  • 2+ years of experience
  • Previous experience with soldering and repair of electronic circuits.
  • Previous experience with using schematics and drawings to troubleshoot electronic circuits.
  • Experience working with rectifier circuitry preferred.
  • Working knowledge of oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other meters is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using a computer and various software tools such as Microsoft Office.
  • Quick adaptation to learning new software tools is required.
  • Knowledge of industry standard soldering requirements and techniques preferred.
  • Troubleshooting - Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about them.


Education



  • An associate's degree in electronics or equivalent education or work experience is required.
  • EE or EET is a plus.
