Milliman's CMH Health Practice is looking for a driven, entrepreneurial, and self-learning data analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing the best healthcare consulting services to our clients while making meaningful contributions to projects and the firm. Job Responsibilities



  • Import, transform, and validate large healthcare data sets from multiple sources.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain data processes and workflows to support analytic and reporting needs.
  • Perform data profiling and quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Build custom reports and dashboards to communicate findings and support client decision-making.
  • Collaborate with consultants and project managers to interpret results and deliver insights.
  • Participate in peer review processes to ensure accuracy and adherence to Milliman's quality standards.
  • Balance multiple client projects simultaneously, spending time on data management, analysis, automation, and reporting.


Minimum requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Public Health, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics or data engineering roles.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, data integration, and reporting concepts.
  • Experience with SQL and data manipulation and management.
  • Ability to interpret, clean, and explain complex data clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and the Office Suite.
  • Exposure to AI and Generative AI tools for data analysis or automation is preferred, not required.
  • Experience with cloud data technologies (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, or similar) is preferred, not required.
  • Experience with data visualization technologies (Power BI, R) is preferred, not required.

Salary:

The overall salary range for this role is $71,700 - $161,575.

For candidates residing in:

Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, Newark, San Jose, San Francisco, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia:



  • $82,455 - $131,905 if overall experience is less than 4 years; and
  • $97,865 - $161,575 for experience greater than 4 years.


All other states:



  • $71,700 - $114,700 if overall experience is less than 4 years; and
  • $85,100- $140,500 for experience greater than 4 years


A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.

Location: It is preferred that candidates work on-site at our Brookfield, Wisconsin office, however, remote candidates will be considered.
