Description

This is a hunter role. As a Sales Director, you will play a crucial role in building and nurturing relationships with both new and existing clients. Your expertise will generate leads and drive them through the pipeline to help secure contracts that meet or exceed sales quotas and targets.

You'll also provide valuable insights to our sales management team, contributing to the enhancement of our sales strategies and the strengthening of our brand reputation. Your in-depth domain knowledge will enable you to engage in meaningful conversations with prospects, positioning you as a trusted advisor.

What We Are Looking For

Professional Qualifications/Experience



  • Exposure to selling technology related platforms, products, and/or services
  • Minimum of 5 years and up to 15 years in the insurance sector, significantly with employee benefits including, but not limited to, group voluntary benefits
  • Established sales cycle experience: from hunting and lead generation to initial customer engagement to signed contract
  • Proficient in various customer engagement methods, including cold calls, email outreach, social media, face to face meetings, conference attendance, and networking
  • Established Network of Carriers, TPAs, MGAs, Brokers is highly desirable


Personal Qualifications/Experience



  • Excellent command of English language, written & verbal
  • US Citizen or Right to Work in USA
  • Self-starter with leadership aspirations and a growth-oriented mindset
  • Ability to draft and deliver persuasive proposals
  • Skilled in developing and executing territory and key account plans
  • Consistent in reporting sales activity and collaborating with marketing for lead generation campaigns
  • Ability to work with marketing to plan and execute lead generation campaigns

          Location

          This role is based out of the Milliman office in Tampa, Florida, but candidates hired into this role may work remotely anywhere in the US. Candidates hired into this role who live with-in driving distance of the Milliman office either in Berwyn, PA or Tampa, FL will be requested in office on a regular basis, but flexible work arrangements will be considered.

          Compensation

          The overall salary range for this role is $117,500 - $222,985 with no ceiling on your commission potential.

          For candidates residing in:



          • Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, Newark, San Jose, San Francisco, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia the salary range is $135,125 - $222,985.
          • All other locations the salary range is $117,500 - $193,900.


          A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience,
          qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.
