TOGETHER, WE SAVE LIVES Tax - Tax Manager OVERVIEW The Tax Manager is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the Company's tax function including quarterly ASC740/FAS109 calculations, federal/state/foreign tax returns, and supporting tax planning initiatives. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare quarterly ASC740/FAS109 calculations and related tax disclosures for global operations in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles Maintain tax account balances on general ledgers Timely and accurately prepare and/or review foreign, federal, state, and local income tax returns Compute quarterly tax payments Work closely with accounting and finance departments to maintain detailed understanding of the Company's business operations, financial systems and processes Assist with racking intercompany transfer pricing results Monitor and review preparation of sales/use and property tax filings Support the Company's Sarbanes Oxley internal control documentation and compliance initiatives Maintain due date calendar tracking full spectrum of tax compliance requirements Manage and coordinate tax audits Other tax projects as needed (acquisition due diligence, tax law change analysis, tax planning modeling, etc.) REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 5+yearsBig Four and/or corporate experience with tax compliance andASC740/FAS109 Demonstrated growth through increasing role responsibility and professional development REQUIRED EDUCATION BS Accounting, MS Tax preferred. CPA preferred KPI's Strong tax technical and accounting skills Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and work effectively with all levels of internal personnel and external advisors Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Advanced skills in the functions of MS Office applications, general ledger accounting systems, fixed asset software, online tax research tools, tax compliance programs Why work at Safariland?
