Medical Biller - A/R Lutherville, MD MUST: Experienced Medical Biller 3+ years of experience in Medical Billing Must have strong Account Receivable experience Most have experience with Modifiers Must have strong appeals and denials experience Must have A/R follow up experience Must have experience handling payment refunds and Adjustment Must have knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding Must have EMR experience, Allscripts experience is highly preferred DUTIES: Medical Biller will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Create, send, and track customer invoices Monitor and collect outstanding payments from customers. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies. Maintain accurate and complete financial records. Generate and analyze reports, such as aging reports, to monitor accounts receivable. Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries and payment issues. Contact customers about past-due balances and negotiate payment plans if necessary Calculating, recording, inputting or processing financial data Preparing customer invoices based on accounting procedures Researching and investigating discrepancies in invoices to determine the accuracy of charges Matching payments to invoice numbers or sales orders Handling customer inquiries regarding billing issues Managing Accounts Receivable ledger and Accounts Receivable files Submitting daily reports to management on accounts receivable operations *Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
