Overview
The Marketing and Public Relations Specialist creates, plans, executes, and evaluates internal and external marketing, communications and public relations plans, that build the Mercyhealth brand and drive market share. This position supports the overall efforts of Mercyhealth's Marketing and Public Relations Department. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communication (or related field) Experience in project management, social media and health care preferred CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE FEMA Certification FEMA ICS-100 For Health Care/Hospitals Certification (or must be obtained within 12 months of hire) FEMA ICS-700 National Incident Management System Certification (or must be obtained within 12 months of hire) ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Passing the Driver's License Check and/or Credit Check (for those positions requiring). Passing the WI Caregiver Background Check and/or IL Health Care Workers Background Check. Must be able to follow written/oral instructions. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Excellent editing/writing skills Excellent interpersonal skills Good interpretive/analytical skills COMPUTER SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software and computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications WORK ENVIRONMENT The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
