Title: Sr Systems Developer - Manufacturing & Engineering (M&E) IT
Location: Houston, TX
Additional locations may include Charleston, TN or Clayton, MO

Salary: $115,000 - $150,000
Schedule: Flexible schedule available of up to 2 days remote per week

Focus: The Sr Systems Developer - M&E IT is responsible for the design, development, and enhancement of both new and existing custom applications in the Manufacturing & Environment Health & Safety (EH&S) space. Incumbent will focus on the management and support of the custom applications, while managing code, releases and documentation.

Sr Systems Developer - M&E IT Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage all aspects of a select group of web-based custom developed applications in the M&E IT space; the primary focus area is EH&S but will include a number of corporate apps
  • Document business requirements then design and develop custom applications to meet those needs
  • Create and manage interfaces between in-house, third party developed, and off the shelf applications, databases, and supporting systems
  • Manage code and releases
  • Maintain and enhance existing custom applications' code
  • Create and manage test scripts either manual or automated to validate system functionality and performance
  • Participate in troubleshooting and support processes with others on the team for related applications
  • Manage application performance working closely with Infrastructure, Database and Security teams
  • Ensure alignment to architecture and security standards
Sr Systems Developer - M&E IT Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree* ; Information Technology, Computer Science or related degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of related information systems and development experience
  • Experience with the following technologies is required: .NET (C# preferred), ASP.Net, API Integration, HTML/CSS, Java Script, MS SQL Server, Multi-Tiered Architecture, IIS configuration, Azure DevOps
  • Experience with Microsoft ASP.Net Web Forms, jQuery, and Telerik ASP.NET AJAX UI Library is preferred
  • Full-Stack development experience preferred
  • Experience in gathering and documenting requirements, working within an enterprise setting with business and IT resources
  • Must possess a valid US driver's license. May be required to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) if working on site at certain Olin locations
