Principal IT Sourcing Manager
Overview This is an exciting opportunity to join the Waters Global Procurement team! Reporting to the Director, Indirect Procurement, the Principal Information Technology Commodity Manager will be responsible for establishing and translating into action enterprise-wide procurement strategies for the IT category in support of a worldwide leader in the life sciences industry.
Experience should include Indirect spend category management, category planning, supplier relationship management, managing strategic sourcing events, leading commercial negotiations, supplier contract management, implementing procurement process improvement, building internal stakeholder partnerships and should possess a working knowledge of industry trends and best practices. The preferred candidate will have background knowledge in the following Indirect spend categories: Information Technology (IT) Hardware, Software, Services, Telecommunications. Typical tasks of the position include, but are not limited to
Understand the categories and supplier markets, complexities, and has an overall vision of best in class procurement needs and practices
