Job Summary:
The Security Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive security programs to safeguard
assets and sensitive information, ensuring strict compliance with both corporate policies and ensuring strict compliance with all
federal and DoD security regulations. The role is the primary liaison between the company and government security agencies and
ACLC.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Manages/implements security policies, procedures, and functions on the Fort Rucker Aviation Maintenance Services contract
IAW the PWS, DoD, Army, USAF, and company policies.
* Knowledgeable in Operations Security and OPSEC Program Manager Level II training preferred.
* Familiar with Information Security requirements and procedures.
* Proficient in all aspects involving Physical Security of assets, property, AA&E and information desired.
* Proficient in Personnel Security Operations using Excel products, DISS and NBIS. Capable of submitting, managing, and
completing background investigations and incident reporting procedures.
* Proficient in overseeing a Communications Security (COMSEC) for Industry program ensuring compliance with NSA
regulatory guidance.
* Develop written procedures for safeguarding classified information during emergencies and daily operations, and procedures
regarding visitor access.
* Coordinates preparation, dissemination, and maintenance of security classification guides with original classification authorities;
coordinate, when necessary, with the proper authorities in response to security threats and incidents; maintains a liaison with the
ACLC security officer, as appropriate, on issues of common concern.
* Ensure employees receive required security training, in coordination with Corporate FSO.
* Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease cycle time and streamline workflow processes.
* Develops and sustains a culture of security, quality compliance, and professionalism.
* Ensures compliance with directives, technical manuals, work standards, safety procedures, and company policies relating to
security operations.
* Apply Company policy and procedures pertaining to the promotion, training, discipline, and termination of employees.
* Ensure employees possess the appropriate background investigation based on their position and contractual requirement.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Five years of security manager experience required.
* Previous experience in conducting security related analysis from identification of the problem through developing
recommendations and security investigations is desired.
* Experience in complying with National Industrial Security Program and DoD policies and procedures covering areas like personal
security (PERSEC), physical security, information systems, and insider threat programs.
* Superior knowledge of U.S. Government security regulations is required.
* Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to obtain/maintain security clearance as required by PWS.
* High School Diploma or equivalency required, bachelor's degree in related field desired.
* Must be proficient in MS Office.
* Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
* Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining a professional and
non-confrontational attitude.
* Must be able to work occasional weekend or alternate shift as necessary.
