The Land Technician is responsible for preparing routine correspondence for other required documentation signers. The position will assist Landmen in preparation of contracts, JOA's, oil and gas leases, assignments, and other applicable documents. This role will review invoices, code to appropriate AFE and circulate for approvals. The Land Tech I will prepare and submit proposal letters to partners on well drilling, workover, completions, etc. They will respond to partner submittals and work across company disciplines including Land, Accounting, Drilling, Geology and Operations. Ensure safe, effective, and efficient land submittals and documents. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare general, routine correspondence for others' signature Assist Landmen in preparation of contracts, JOA's, oil and gas leases, assignments, and other applicable documents Review invoices, code to appropriate AFE and circulate for approvals Prepare and submit proposal letters to partners on well drilling, workover, completions, etc. Respond to partner submittals Work across company disciplines including Land, Accounting, Drilling, Geology and Operations Required Qualifications: High School Diplomaor equivalent required At least one (1) year of experience in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred Three (3) years of industry experience in land or related field Basic knowledge of Oil and Gas practices and policies and can apply that knowledge to the work Strong organizational and time management skills Demonstrated integrity in work product and in dealing with coworkers Strong attention to detail and flexible regarding workload and priorities Basic research skills with regard to reviewing multiple data sources to find specific information Proven ability to discern work in need of escalation Proven ability to identify potential issues in daily work Relocation: This position is not eligible for relocation assistance Work Authorization: Diamondback Energy is not currently sponsoring employment visas for this position Diamondback is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
