The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The Supervisor will liaise with staff for care coordination, clinical consultation, development of a therapeutic calendar and curriculum.

This position will assist the director with documentation review, SAS unit intake/assessment workflow, and sign-off on a portion of the provisionally licensed staff members' clinical notes.

Additionally, this position monitors the performance of MSW interns and maintains a small clinical caseload within SAS.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Master's degree in Social Work
  • Prior experience with TRMC SAS or as a substance abuse treatment provider
  • All new hires who are in recovery must attest to having one year of sobriety and abstinence
  • All new hires are required to sign an Affidavit of Recovery
  • Must comply with TRMC paid state-level criminal history record background check supported by fingerprint check prior to hire

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • NJ Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), LPC in good standing for a minimum of three years

Essential Functions:

  • Engaging individuals and groups in psychotherapeutic counseling to resolve symptoms of substance use or mental health disorders
  • Teaching individuals how to modify behaviors
  • Assessments including intake, identifying issues, creating goals and individualized Treatment Plans
  • Assisting with case management
  • Leading group therapy sessions
  • Providing outreach and progress reports to referring agencies
  • Referring patients to support groups
  • Setting up an after care plan
  • Obtaining authorizations from Medicaid, insurances and other referral sources
  • Other duties as assigned
