Seeking an Assistant Quality Control Manager with experience in electrical and technology applications. The successful candidate should possess core expertise in one or more of subjects / disciplines:
- Electrical systems including power (normal / emergency) distribution and lighting systems
- Electronic security systems including access control, CCTV, perimeter security and information assurance
- Quality control metrics and monitoring practices to ensuring compliance to quality standards and contractual requirements
Responsibilities
- Being on site every day to perform quality control inspections of the electrical, mechanical, fire alarm, and fire suppression work; and ensure compliance with the contract drawings and specifications
- Ability to participate and contribute to weekly client facing meetings, where the QC program will need to be discussed
- Host client facing Preparatory Meetings, in which the upcoming work will be presented and how it will be incorporated into the Quality Control program
- Preparing and documenting daily reports, deficiency logs, and progress photos
- Handling the Quality Control of RMS (Resident Management System), which is the USACE online tool for documenting and tracking the project
- Working on design reviews and quality checks from internal drawing reviews
- Working with construction superintendent to develop installation QC inspection plans
- Ensure compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations
- Ensure contract compliance and quality standards are met
- Implementing corrective actions and solutions with the team to ensure a quality product is delivered and documenting the deficiency/corrective action
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
- USACE CQM Certification (can be obtained within 2 weeks with training and a test)
- B.S. Degree in Engineering (ABET accredited), Construction Management or Business Management and relevant field experience 7+ years of experience with projects/work similar to that required on this contract
- Individual must possess excellent communication skills and tact to work directly with customer and internal senior management, supervisory personnel, trade partners, and design professionals
- Ability to proactively identify and resolve business, technical and construction issues to include technical and design issues, operational challenges, work procedures, and potential customer concerns and complaints

- Interface with internal and external customers
- Implementing quality control measures and metrics

- Working within databases for data collection and analysis
- Working with diverse teams and different levels of management
- Suggest process improvements / cost saving measures
- Assist with customer reporting including weekly project quality status and updates
- Interpret drawings and standards
- Proficiency in MS Office

Pay Range
USD $124,880.00 - USD $187,320.00 /Yr.
