The Opportunity

The Legal Technology Quality Assurance Specialist assists in the development of test plans for applications supported by the Legal Technology Department. Manually tests applications to ensure they function efficiently, are free of defects, and meets the requirements agreed to in the design specifications.

  • Reviews functional and designs specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
  • Executes and evaluates manual test cases and reports test results.
  • Holds and facilitates test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
  • Develops and maintains regression test suites to improve and increase efficiency in test coverage.
  • Provides feedback and estimates to the team on testing impacts and test data considerations.
  • Proactively identifies any potential quality issues per defined process and escalates potential quality issues immediately to management.
  • Ensures that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
  • Isolates, replicates, and reports defects and verifies defect fixes.
  • Provides User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support to help coordinate and support end users during the testing phase to ensure solutions meet their needs.
  • Performs post-deployment validations to ensure new features and updates are working as expected on the live environment.
  • Researches, analyzes, and suggests improvements to existing QA processes and methodologies to enforce quality assurance standards.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others.
  • Manages Firm resources responsibly.
  • Complies with and understands Firm operation, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 4 years of Quality Assurance experience working in an IT Environment.
  • Minimum of 4 years Agile/Agile team experience.

The starting base salary for this position is expected to be within the range listed under Salary Details. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law.

Salary Details

$95,000 - $105,000
