Responsibilities

    • Be able to climb stairs all shift
    • Work on elevated platforms

    • Familiar with Fiber placement layup
    • Understand the Automated Fiber Placement Process
    • Computer skills a must. Be able to use multiple screens and programs
    • Experience cross loading programs
    • Must be able to follow, read, and understand BAC and MAA standards
    • Experience with complex 3D probing for machine alignment
    • Laser software compatible
    • Understand set up procedures
    • Keen eye for detail
    • Preform process surveillance to assure compliance with requirements
    • Prepare and maintain quality records
    • Perform routine minor machine maintenance and knowledge of tow tuning, laser alignment and inspecting for tow deficiencies

Level A:

  • Completely and independently setup and operate Computerized Numerical Controlled (CNC) and Conventional equipment to perform complex or precision operations in accordance with engineering requirements.
  • Activities include, e.g. operating multi-axis equipment to mill, precision bore, turn, thread, grind, sculpt/contour, etc.
  • Verifies dimensions of parts using both mechanical and electronic measurement tools. And relative to these inspection duties:
    • Maintain required personal certifications.
    • Perform complete inspection, including first part review, of procured or fabricated parts and assemblies.
    • Initiate and document any non-conforming condition for Material Review Board action.
    • Perform process surveillance to assure compliance with requirements.
    • Prepare and maintain quality records.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of CNC Multi- axis experience
  • All applicants must be willing and able to work any shift, including alternative work weeks. Majority of new hires will be hired on 2nd shift.
