This is a US-based remote position that will start as a 4 month engagement with possible extension to 7 months.

The purpose of this team is providing business management support for an engineering team that develops developer tools for AI. This role will contribute to headcount management for the team, data analysis and insights, and ad hoc project work. Projects example are: Hierarchy assessment and correction, Position Count Number clean up, Dashboard creation and maintenance, Hiring projects, etc. This role will partner with two directors to provide business management support for the teams focused on product development and AI infrastructure, the two teams have 2,500 members. The role will own both Headcount management end to end for two large teams, as well as an industry hiring project which consists of working with hiring managers to ensure they use best practices and hire for quality. The role will not be doing hiring themselves, just running this as a project and providing high level support here.

Responsibilities



  • You will be the cornerstone of operational excellence, driving efficiency and providing crucial insights for our engineering teams.
  • Owning end-to-end headcount management for two large engineering organizations, totaling approximately 2,500 employees globally.
  • Conducting in-depth data analysis and generating actionable insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Leading and contributing to various ad hoc projects, such as organizational hierarchy assessments, position count cleanup, and the creation and maintenance of key performance dashboards.
  • Partnering closely with leadership to provide comprehensive business management support.
  • Managing an industry hiring project, guiding hiring managers on best practices to ensure high-quality talent acquisition.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and creating new, timely, and accurate reporting for headcount and special projects.


Qualifications



  • 2-4 overall years of experience in a business operations or analytical role.
  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical field such as business management, economics, finance, or accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with headcount management.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with data analysis in Excel & PowerBI
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with SharePoint and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated detail-orientation with strong execution excellence and a self-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and other enterprise experience is a plus


Preferred Qualifications



  • Very strong knowledge of advanced features in spreadsheet software, business intelligence tools, and a collaboration platform.
