This position is responsible for the general management and oversight of the clinical processes, programs, and services of VillageHealth. This position provides strategic and tactical leadership, counsel, and direction to the management staff to ensure safe, efficient, therapeutic, and ethical care and services. Additionally, this position identifies and develops strategic growth opportunities, monitors operations performance, and works closely with the General Manager to develop competitive strategies in alignment with DaVita's mission and values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Enhance and integrate existing products and programs
o Coordinate internal compliance review of all products, programs, and services to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines
o Provide direction in the design and development of information technology to support current and future VH clinical processes, programs, and services
* Achieve desired clinical operational performance, outcomes, and services
o Review, analyze, and address gaps in service excellence, policies and/or procedures; identify issues and implement solutions
o Ensure development, monitoring, review, and communication of quality improvement activities, metrics, and outcomes
* Establish positive working relationships with all levels of management and physicians; work collaboratively to attain goals
* Maintain awareness and knowledge of market, competition, related businesses, and healthcare developments
o Participate in joint business venture meetings as applicable
* Develop and manage clinical operations and capital budgets in accordance with DaVita policies
o Support DaVita financial management goals; operate within budget constraints and make adjustments as needed
* Maintain a liaison relationship between corporate office and VH through written and oral communication; attend meetings as needed
Teammate Management
* Provide leadership to direct reports
o Help direct reports overcome any organizational obstacles encountered during projects
o Know, understand, implement, follow, and communicate to teammates all DaVita employment policies and procedures, awards, and other opportunities within company and foster a positive work environment
* Hire, manage, and develop teammates to excel in their assigned roles in a team environment
o Facilitate teammate development (PDRs, coaching, mentoring, DaVita training, outside training); collaborate with direct reports to create professional development goals

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Minimum 6-8 years in a relevant Leadership role
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Proven complex problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Deep experience and knowledge of value based care, and Medicare risk adjustment.
* Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred (Healthcare administration or other relevant degree)
