Zayo is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager, Specialist to support our Long-Haul Deployment Facilities Team. This role is instrumental in ensuring the successful planning, tracking, and execution of projects related to dark fiber infrastructure. Our Project Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to maintain project schedules, track deliverables, and proactively address potential risks. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and proficient in project management tools. Demonstrates a get-stuff-done attitude and a commitment to driving projects forward.

NOTE: We are open to this position working remotely within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking long haul deployment projects from inception to completion.
* Utilize Salesforce/Sitetracker systems to manage project timelines, milestones, budgets, and documentation. Create and maintain Expense Builders for each ILA location.
* Maintain detailed project records and ensure data integrity within Salesforce/Sitetracker.
* Proactively identify project risks and work with the team to develop mitigation strategies.
* Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and external vendors to ensure timely project completion.
* Provide project-level and executive project reporting including regular updates to our key customers.
* Maintain accurate and organized records of all contract related documents, correspondence and changes.
* Monitor permitting, material procurement, and construction activities to ensure alignment with project goals.
* Prepare regular status reports, dashboards, and updates for management and stakeholders.
* Facilitate project meetings, track action items, and ensure timely follow-ups.
* Assist in optimizing project workflows and identifying process improvements.
* Effectively communicate with municipalities and vendors to coordinate Long Haul ILA project scope, schedule work activities, and overcome project obstacles.
* Take ownership of tasks with a problem-solving mindset and a drive to overcome obstacles.

Qualifications & Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Minimum of three (3) years of project coordination experience, preferably in telecommunications, construction, or infrastructure deployment.
* Proficiency in Sitetracker or similar project management platforms.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with fiber optic network infrastructure, permitting processes, or utility construction is a plus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools

Estimated base salary range: $61,100 - $94,000 USD/annually.

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.
