How you'll make an impact: What you'll do: Team Management and Leadership: would lead and manage a team of outside sales professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive their performance and professional development. This includes setting sales targets, managing territories, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a high-performance sales culture. Sales Planning and Forecasting: would work closely with the sales team to develop comprehensive sales plans, including territory plans, account targeting strategies, and sales forecasting. This involves analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales planning and resource allocation. Customer Relationship Management: would build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, including major accounts and strategic partners. This includes participating in customer meetings, negotiations, and relationship-building activities to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth. Sales Performance Measurement: would establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of outside sales activities. This includes tracking sales metrics, analyzing sales data, and providing insights and recommendations to drive sales performance and revenue growth. Sales Process Optimization: would continuously assess and optimize the sales process to improve efficiency and effectiveness. This includes identifying bottlenecks, streamlining workflows, and implementing sales tools and technologies to enhance productivity and sales performance. Sales Training and Development: would develop and implement sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the outside sales team. This includes conducting product and sales training sessions, providing coaching and feedback, and facilitating continuous learning and development opportunities. Market and Competitive Analysis: would stay updated on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape related to outside sales. This includes conducting market research, analyzing competitor offerings, and identifying opportunities for differentiation and market penetration. Collaboration with Internal Teams: would collaborate closely with internal teams, such as marketing, product management, and operations, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. This includes providing feedback on product and market requirements, coordinating sales and marketing activities, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments. Thought Leadership - will work with sales marketing team to insure that vertical specific industry content is delivered to the political decision makers to help drive audio adoption within the political vertical. Will also be required to attend industry events as a SiriusXM thought leader to help advocate for the increase in audio spend. What you'll need:
At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $125,000 to $155,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
