Summary:Reporting to the Chief Philanthropy Officer, NC Children's, the Assistant Vice President for Philanthropy (Major Gifts) will lead efforts to secure significant philanthropic investments that advance the vision of NC Children's to create North Carolina's first freestanding children's hospital and health system dedicated to transforming care for children and families across the state and beyond. The AVP will oversee the strategy, execution, and performance of NC Children's major gifts program, ultimately building and managing a high-performing team responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors capable of making gifts of $100,000 to $10 million. This leader will work closely with clinical, academic, and administrative partners to align donor interests with NC Children's priorities and to translate those priorities into compelling philanthropic opportunities.
