Job Description

Researches, plans, and develops Public Health initiatives in alignment with public health priorities, with the goal of improving the health status of communities.

Job Responsibility

  • Contributes through a combination of key technical expertise and technical/process leadership that regularly provides enterprise level guidance to team members. Leads program/initiative design efforts including identification and development of goals, objectives, operational/research metrics and participating clinical and non-clinical resources.
  • Collaborates with team leaders of existing public health programs to ensure program alignment and development of outcome metrics for program evaluation.
  • Identifies cost effective ways to enhance and/or expand initiatives.
  • Researches and develops community collaborative efforts as appropriate to meet the unmet health needs in the community.
  • Represents the organization at related local and regional professional conferences, forums, activities and events, and makes presentations to disseminate information and share best practices.

Job Qualification

  • Master's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience and 5+ years of leadership / management experience, required.
  • Healthcare experience highly preferred.
