Insurance Customer Service Representative - Proctor Location: * Troy, MI: 700 Tower Drive, Troy, Michigan, 48098 * Daytona Beach, FL: 220 South Ridgewood Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida, 32114 Pay Rate: * English: $17/hour * Spanish Bilingual: $18.50/hour Start Date: January 2025 Training Schedule: * First 4 weeks: Fully remote, Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM * Weeks 5-8: Fully onsite for nesting and live calls Post-Training Schedule: * 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM * Hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 days remote (based on adherence, quality, and attendance) Responsibilities: * Handle 40-50 inbound calls daily related to new or existing homeowners' claims * Answer questions such as claim status and perform claim intake (calls may last up to an hour) * Provide professional, accurate, and empathetic support * Apply strong problem-solving and resolution skills Requirements: * Minimum 1 year of recent customer service experience (call center preferred; front desk/admin considered) * Proficient in Windows PC navigation and software systems * Typing speed: 35 WPM or higher * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Reliable internet connection for remote work * Reliable transportation for onsite requirements Experience Level: Entry level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
