Duties & Responsibilities: * Manages a pipeline of consumer loan applications. * Interacts directly with customers, internal partners such as bankers and underwriters, and third party service providers. * Communicates terms, requirements, and conditions of customer's loan application and obtains customer acceptance (via email and phone). * Expedites the origination process by keeping all parties up to date on the status of the application. * Follows up with the customer, banker, and others as needed on any outstanding documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements. * Researches and resolves issues related to the application. * Sells features and benefits of products to customers, cross-sells other products and services, up-sells loan amounts, and encourages additional account usage. Additional Details: * Pay: $20.00/hour * Shift: 8:00AM-5:00PM (M-F) * In-office position: office located in downtown Akron, OH Skills/Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * 3+ years of banking, consumer lending, and/or mortgage experience * Proficient in Microsoft Excel * Excellent customer service skills, highly motivated, focused and goal oriented * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up * Ability to work in-office in Akron, OH Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Akron, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
