Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field. 8+ years of IT experience with a focus on financial systems and FP&A technology. Proven experience designing and implementing Oracle EPM Cloud Planning models (Workforce, Financials, CapEx, Projects, Custom modules). Strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, and corporate planning processes. Experience leading end-to-end Oracle EPM/EPBCS implementations. PMP or equivalent project management certification. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple fast-moving initiatives in a complex environment. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Strategic Leadership * Develop and execute the technology roadmap for Oracle EPM, Planning, and FP&A modernization. * Ensure all solutions support corporate goals, financial transformation initiatives, and long-term scalability. * Lead modernization efforts including cloud adoption, Planning model redesign, and data integration strategy. * Oversee security, compliance, and disaster recovery planning for financial applications. Financial Systems & Planning Management * Lead full lifecycle implementations of Oracle EPM Cloud with a strong emphasis on Planning modules (EPBCS/PBCS). * Design, enhance, and maintain driver-based, scenario, rolling forecast, and long-range planning models. * Ensure alignment between Planning models and enterprise financial structures (COA, entity hierarchies, cost centers). * Drive integration between EPM, ERP, Data Hub/UDH, and analytics environments. * Optimize model performance, calculation efficiency, data quality, and monthly/quarterly planning cycles. * Manage quarterly patch cycles, change control, and continuous enhancement of Planning business rules. Team & Project Leadership * Lead large, cross-functional project teams including internal staff, contractors, offshore teams, and SI partners. * Manage a high-visibility Oracle EPM project portfolio, ensuring delivery across multiple parallel workstreams. * Establish and enforce development standards, governance practices, and Planning model design guidelines. * Apply Agile delivery methods to accelerate Planning enhancements and improve stakeholder visibility. Budget & Operations * Develop and manage budgets for EPM programs, vendor spend, and project delivery. * Optimize operational costs, licensing, and support models. * Ensure compliance with IT and financial governance policies. * Provide executive-level reporting on Planning model performance, project health, and system maturity. *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $85.00/hr.
